Guwahati, Oct 27 (PTI) A 60-year-old man was arrested on the charge of raping a minor girl at Panjabari area of the city, when her mother had gone to the market and her father was out of work,police said yesterday.
Altaf Ali allegedly raped a seven-year-old girl yesterday when her mother had gone to the market and her father was out for work, police said. Local resident confined Ali and handed him over to the police. The child has been sent for medical examination, sources added.The police are investigating into the case.
