DIRECTOR OF SCHOOL EDUCATION, ANDHRA PRADESH :: HYDERABAD 

NOTIFICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF TEACHERS-2008 

In pursuance to the orders by the Government in 

G.O.Ms.No.159, Education Ser (VI) Department, Dated.05- 

12-08, G.O.Ms.No.161, Education Ser (VI) Department, 

Dated.06-12-2008 applications are invited from the 

candidates for selection to the posts School Assistants, 

Language Pandits, Secondary Grade Teachers and Physical 

Education Teachers in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal 

Parishad Schools and the schools under the control of 

Project officer, I.T.D.As and Municipalities in the state unit wise. 

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed form on any day from 15-12-2008 to 16–01-2009 to the District Educational Officer of the District concerned, where he/she would like to seek selection. Candidates who desire to apply for more than one post based on their eligibility shall have to submit separate applications for each post.

DSC 2008 Important Dates

1. Sale of application form from 15-12-2008 to 15-01-2009. 

2. Receipt of application form from 15-12-2008 to 16-01-2009. 

3. Written test 11th, 12th, & 13th of April, 2009. 

4. Application Forms will be available for sale at all Head Post Offices / Sub Post offices / e-Seva centers. 

5. Filled in Application form has to be submitted to the concerned District Educational Officer. 

Qualification:- For the posts of School Assistants, Secondary Grade Teachers, Language Pandits and

PET are shown in detail in the guidelines issued along with the application form.

Age Limit: - Applicant must have completed the minimum age of 18 years and must not have completed the

maximum age of 39 years as on 1st July 2008 (1.07.2008). However in case of BCs/ SC/ST the maximum age limit is 44 years and physically challenged candidates is 49 years.

Written Test: (i) The candidate should take the Test only in the district in which he/she submitted

his/her application. (ii) The candidate shall be required to answer 200 multiple-choice questions by way of

shading in the space indicated in the O.M.R sheet. (iii) The date and time of the written test for different

categories of posts is as follows:
